After enlisted tours in the USAF, Air National Guard and the Navy he was commissioned and designated a Naval Flight Officer on the P-3 aircraft. His next 26 years of active service consisted of various assignments of increasing responsibility in aviation patrol squadrons, onboard Naval Air Stations, and on major aviation staffs. Jeff Snyder, Col, USAF (Ret)

Jeff had 30 years of operational aircraft maintenance experience with extensive expertise in tactical aircraft maintenance. He commanded three maintenance squadrons and a maintenance group. After retirement in 2008, Jeff became a consultant for a large defense contractor, where he provided in-depth assessments of maintenance operations. Jeff and his wife live in north Henderson County, NC

Bob Rebscher, Capt, USMC (Ret)


Bob joined the USMC Reserve in 1956 while in high school on Long Island, NY. After graduating, he entered active duty and rose to the rank of Staff Sergeant. During the first of two tours in Vietnam, he was commissioned a Second Lieutenant (Temporary) due to the Corps’ need for additional officers. Later, as a Captain, he reverted to Gunnery Sergeant. Herb Mensch, CAPT, USN (Ret)

Herb grew up in Leawood, Kansas and graduated from the U S Naval Academy in 1961. He served in Submarines for the majority of his career. Following retirement, he worked as a consultant for several Navy and Marine Corps acquisition programs. Since retiring, he and his wife have made their home in Flat Rocks, NC.
